About

Mr. Mokashi graduated from the University of Manchester Medical School in 2001. He spent a year teaching anatomy and physiology of the eye at the University of Sheffield before pursuing extensive training in ophthalmology. The majority of his specialist training was completed at the Manchester Royal Eye Hospital and Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham.

With over two years of advanced training in vitreo-retinal surgery, Mr. Mokashi further honed his expertise through a 14-month vitreo-retinal surgical fellowship at the Birmingham and Midland Eye Centre.

He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and a member of the British and Eire Association of Vitreo-Retinal Surgeons. He also holds memberships with the British Medical Association and maintains full registration and revalidation with the General Medical Council.

Mr. Mokashi has contributed to scientific literature with multiple publications and has presented his research at national and international conferences. He is dedicated to training the next generation of ophthalmologists, mentoring specialists on the East Midlands Training Programme and vitreo-retinal surgical fellows at Leicester Royal Infirmary.
