Consultant Ophthalmologist and Clinical Partner
I grew up and went to school in London before coming to Medical School in Bristol. I trained in Ophthalmology in the Severn region with visiting fellowships in the US and now work as a consultant ophthalmologist with an interest in cataract and retina.
I have held roles as an advisor for the ophthalmology content of the British National Formulary (BNF) and provide ophthalmology opinions for both the BNF and the children's BNF. I have a strong interest in research and continue to publish widely in the ophthalmic literature.
Furthermore, I have a strong interest in teaching and training with undergraduates and postgraduate trainees. I have completed various postgraduate qualifications, am a fellow of the higher education academy and continue to be actively involved in teaching of ophthalmologists in addition to allied health professionals.
