Mr Moustafa Issa is a highly experienced Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon. He is currently practising at Stoke Mandville Hospital and his clinical interests are General and Comprehensive Ophthalmology, Cataract Surgery and Medical Retina. His expertise include Cataract Surgery, Eye Surgery for Diabetic Retinopathy, Eyelid Cyst Removal, Artificial Lens Implants, Low Vision Assessments, Posterior Capsule Opacification and other ophthalmology consultations.
Mr Issa has had extensive training and experience in various regions of England, including eight years at the Oxford Eye Hospital. He took up a Consultant post at Buckinghamshire HealthCare NHS Trust in 2016, where he was responsible for leading the Acute and General Ophthalmology services of the department.
He completed a fellowship in Medical Retina at a prestigious hospital in London, and now dedicates much of his time to General Ophthalmology and Cataract surgery. Mr Issa also shares his knowledge as a senior clinical lecturer at Buckingham University Medical School. He is a member of the UK & Ireland Society of Refractive Surgeons and the American Academy of Ophthalmologists.
