Stuart Guthrie

Stuart Guthrie is a consultant ophthalmic surgeon specialising in cataract surgery and general ophthalmology. He completed his ophthalmic surgical training in the south west of England and recently undertook a fellowship in corneal and emergency ophthalmology at Bristol Eye Hospital.

Throughout his career, Mr Guthrie has actively contributed to training and mentorship programmes, serving as a lecturer, OSCE examiner, and professional mentor. He has co-authored clinical guidelines, published original research in international journals, led quality improvement projects, and presented at national and international conferences, showcasing his dedication to advancing ophthalmic care and education.
