Dr. Rishika Chaudhary is a Consultant Ophthalmologist based in the West Midlands. Her clinical interests include performing cataract extraction surgery, especially in complex cases, and providing treatment for age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusions, and other retinal conditions. She is skilled in administering intravitreal injections and laser eye treatments, as well as managing retinal detachment, floaters, vitreomacular traction, and other retinal issues.

Dr. Chaudhary's academic journey includes extensive research in proliferative vitreoretinopathy, with a focus on identifying predictive biomarkers after retinal detachment. Her research, funded by prestigious organisations such as the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) and the Ministry of Defence, has earned her a Doctor of Medicine [MD] degree. She is committed to advancing knowledge in her field and has presented her findings at international conferences.

Driven by her passion for digital innovation in healthcare, Dr. Chaudhary holds a Postgraduate Certification degree in Telemedicine, which enables her to deliver healthcare services remotely.
