Mr Ranjit Nair is a Consultant Ophthalmologist currently based at BMI The Droitwich Spa Hospital and his current NHS post is Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. His area of specialism is Ophthalmology and his areas of interest include cataract surgery, oculoplastics and paediatric ophthalmology.

Mr Nair qualified in 1990, he completed his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degrees at the University of Kerala, India. He completed Specialist Ophthalmology training in the West Midlands, UK. He also completed a Fellowship in Paediatric Ophthalmology at Birmingham's Children's Hospital and a CCT fellowship Oculoplastics Birmingham Midlands Eye Centre.

In addition, Mr Nair has many professional memberships, Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, Royal College of Ophthalmologists London, and Paediatric Ophthalmologists Society of Midlands. He also enjoys sports, playing Badminton, Cricket, Table Tennis and Chess.
