Mr Yun Wong is a consultant oculoplastic and orbital surgeon at James Cook University Hospital, specialising in oculoplastic and orbital surgery. He graduated from the University of Nottingham Medical School in 2008 and completed his ophthalmology training in Newcastle Upon Tyne. He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists in 2014. Mr Wong has completed two oculoplastic and orbital fellowships, with the first in Newcastle Upon Tyne and the second in Brisbane, Australia, where he worked with the world-renowned Professor Tim Sullivan. His expertise is supported by multiple publications, and he was awarded the RED Bursary by the British Ophthalmological Surveillance Unit for his work on thyroid eye disease.
